Today, there is an app for everything. However, the world’s greatest application, social media platform, or smart device is practically useless if people don’t know how to use it. To take advantage of technology’s benefits requires a commitment to learning new processes, seeking out experts, and being open to changing the way you have always done something. This takes time, and may take money. That’s why its important to assess how many resources it will take to implement that free application BEFORE you commit.
What applications and platforms are you using to manage donors, track membership or audience numbers, and prove fiscal responsibility? Find out what is working for you, what you have but is not being used, and what needs to be upgraded to meet the future demands of the organization.
Make sure everyone who needs to use the technology knows how to login, navigate, and use it. At the very least, make sure they have access to step-by-step instructions customized for your organization. Practical Results Coaching can create that documentation and provide hands-on training.
You made the decision to upgrade or implement something new. Congratulations! Now who in your organization is going to shepherd this project through from Vendor Engagement till Project Sign-off? As your dedicated project manager, we will make sure your requirements, expectations, and understandings are clearly communicated and achieved.
